J't'en bâdrai tout

J't'en bâdrai tout - et v'là tch'est seu -
ouaithe qu'lé présent sait p'tit.
Man trésor, ch'est mes lythe et tchoeu -
ch'est tout qué j'peux t'offri.
Ma lythe té chant'ta bein douochement
tout qu'l'amour peut dêcrithe;
mais ch'est bein mus chein qu'man tchoeu sent
tchi t'mouontre bein pus qu'eune lythe.

D'l'amour et d'la chanson, nou lâsse
quand l'ciel est bein couvèrt,
mais coumme à sinne dé jeu, tout pâsse
quand l'or rempliaiche lé nièr.
L'malheu peut v'nîn pouor sonner quas
dans eune vie d'bouon accord,
mais la lythe, quand l'amour jouôtha,
èrlitha coumme d'amors!

Thomas Moore (1779-1852), "My heart and lute" (I give thee all - I can no more...)
