Teurtchi v. teurtre

Verbs teurtchi and teurtre/teurt' both mean to twist, but are generally used in different contexts. Teurtchi additionally means to bind i.e. to twist together in order to tie up. Teurtre also means to wring, to sprain.

Teurtre will therefore often signify to twist out of shape, whereas teurtchi will often signify to twist into some intended shape.
